Жительница США расстреляла из дробовика пятерых детей, после чего подожгла дом и покончила с собой. Об этом сообщил во время брифинга шериф округа Гринбрайер, штат Западная Вирджиния, Брюс Слоан.

Трагедия произошла ещё 8 декабря. Вернувшийся домой отец обнаружил обгоревший остов дома и тела двух старших детей от первого брака и трёх младших от 25-летней Ореанны Майерс. Позже следствие пришло к выводу, что именно она совершила жуткое преступление.

Самому маленькому ребёнку был всего год, старшему семь лет. Женщина расстреляла всех пятерых из дробовика, позже её тело обнаружили в беседке для пикника.

Супругу Ореанны Брайану пришлось уехать из дома на 10 дней. Он жил у родственников, потому что попал в аварию и не мог добираться до работы, пока не починили его автомобиль. За несколько часов до трагедии мужчина получил жуткое сообщение от жены и спешно вернулся к семье, но обнаружил пепелище.

«Тебе некуда возвращаться, только к мёртвым… Если никого не волнует, то почему должно волновать меня? Мне всё равно,» — написала Ореанна в последнем СМС.

Рядом с телом женщины обнаружили несколько записок, в которых она просила прощения за то, что её «демоны победили». Ранее Майерс не обращалась к психиатру и не была замечена в жестоком обращении с детьми.
